The Duri International Schools of Riau (ISR) Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) sponsors a fundraiser each year titled, "Extravaganza." The funds raised at this event are used to support activities for the kids throughout the year. It's a big event that draws in parents of ISR kids, and non-parents, too. For Duri, it is the "don't miss" party of the year. This year's theme was "Bollywood" and the planners and decorators went all out importing decorations from near and far. It was a great party, mixed with lots of nostalgia since all expatriates are moving from Duri to Rumbai this summer The Duri ISR school, which has been operating for nearly 60 years, will be closing its doors.

Here we are standing in front of some of the live auction items that were made by each of the ISR classrooms. These were the most hotly contested items, as they represent the final installment of Duri Extravaganza and Duri ISR projects for auction.
