Trip to California

It was time for another vacation, so we headed out to meet up with the rest of the family in California! The weather wasn't nice enough to make it to the pool everyday, but we still found plenty to do, like taking walks with Grandpa Pat... And learning to walk on the grass! (Yes, up to this trip Jake still refused to walk in the grass or on sand. It took some coaxing by Grandpa Pat, but Jake finally gave it a try.)

Made some time for football

And even started to play in the sand!

Jake also enjoyed some of the finer things in life...like chocolate mousse...

Luckily a couple of days were nice and sunny, allowing for some time in the pool. Jake was a little hesitant at first, and wanted to stay on the step for awhile.

He warmed up a bit once we got the beach ball out (the other large black beach ball looking thing is Jake's future little brother)

And then Jake start swimming with Dad. Jake even went under water a few times (without the hat) and enjoyed it.

All in all, pool time was a success.

After the pool, Jake needed some time to relax...

It was great to see the family.

And so hard to say Goodbye! (Jake has now perfected the hug and kiss!)
